Tire Discounters Winchester Road Review

Store Name and #: Tire Discounter #N/A Store Address: 1127 Winchester Road Store City, St Zip: Lexington, KY 40505 Rating: 10/10 I have only been to this store once, but I had a good overall experience with them. I also asked them for an inspection of the...

Cancer 9 month checkup

Today is March 27, 2019, the date of my 9 month scan and meeting with my oncologist. It is my third clean scan since my first scan came back clean in June of 2018. It has been a rough ride over the last year, and I have had a lot of ups and downs over that time. I started this post in order to be able to show that good things do happen. Hopes and prayers to those who are reading this and are currently battling this thing called...

Study plans for the CCENT

I have spent the last couple months deciding how I want to approach my starting this study blog. I have debated on how I want to approach my studies for the CCENT AKA Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician exam. The exam # is 100-105 and it is one half of the CCNA AKA Cisco Certified Network Associate exam. I have chosen to take the two-path route instead of the single path route. This is because it will cost me the same amount of...

How I started my IT lab

I started studying for Microsoft exams back in 2006 when Windows XP was still being used in business and at home.  Vista had just come out, but it wasn’t being adopted by businesses or by the home users as people were comfortable using windows XP.  I studied for the Windows XP exam to start on the journey to MCSA 2003. My lab environment was essentially a Sony Vaio laptop with 2 gigs of ram, and I had a 120 GB mechanical...

What am I doing in 2019

Lets start with the way I am approaching 2019 from a studying perspective. I carved out a series of exams out to September of 2019 with the hope of passing all the exams on the first try. My exam list is subject to change should I not pass any of these exams, and be required to restudy for any failed exam, but let’s not discuss that now. Going over what I have planned in the first 9 months of 2019 will be a long and grueling period...

My hair is growing back in now, I’ve even had to get one hair cut already, and will need to get another one soon. I still get my port accessed and flushed once a month over at the Markey Cancer Center to make sure they can still draw blood from it. My next scan comes in...

Where and how I got started in IT?

I started in Information Technology way back 2003/2004. I was still new to everything and had just taken the Comptia A+ certification and thought I knew everything there was to know about IT. Boy was I wrong, and boy did I have a lot still to learn about the IT field. Seventeen-year old me thought that I was the best in the world at computer IT because look at me I’m A+ certified and I’m only 17. A year later, I sat and...
