Cancer 9 month checkup

Today is March 27, 2019, the date of my 9 month scan and meeting with my oncologist. It is my third clean scan since my first scan came back clean in June of 2018. It has been a rough ride over the last year, and I have had a lot of ups and downs over that time. I started this post in order to be able to show that good things do happen. Hopes and prayers to those who are reading this and are currently battling this thing called Cancer. It was 1 year 1 month and 2 weeks ago when I went through what I felt like was the absolute worst day of my life when I was first diagnosed with Cancer. Just as I am now, I was sitting in the same waiting room of Markey Cancer Center in Lexington KY waiting to hear the results of my CT scan. It is a tough wait, but at least for now came back clean.

The point of this post is to give you an update and to encourage those who are going through this struggle battling Cancer. I want you to know that it does get better, and that many cancers are beatable with early treatment. I am doing just fine though I want everyone to know that I am working to be the best person that I can be. I missed a lot of time last year from work and missed a lot of time posting on here due to not knowing what I wanted to post or what I wanted to say. However, I feel that my posting like this can be a way to keep everyone informed about my progress and maybe to give others encouragement in their fight. I want to bring back my weekly posting that I was doing last year after I started this blog, and to stop slacking off. I have a lot of ideas on what I am going to write about, and I have a few posts already written and are just going through the editing process right now. I plan to get them up on the blog here very soon.

I am also working towards starting a personal YouTube channel where I will post videos and tutorials. Once I work that out and get it up and running, I will post a link in a future post so you can subscribe and see what kinds of crazy or even somewhat sane things that I actually do. I will continue to update my readers here on the blog. I wanted to start a video blog of the appointments at Markey, but there are a lot of HIPAA regulations that one must consider, so I will be unable to film here.

I am continuing to work and progress towards creating a better me this year. I go to the gym regularly now, 5-6 times/week. I have also posted some goals for donations, and subscribers I will be posting on that page other things such as giveaways that I run during the year. So keep checking back to see what kind of things I’m giving away. I will post over there about how to claim what you won and the rules of the giveaway.

We are hard at work on getting all the things set up for our launch of the new pages on the website. I look forward to interacting with you guys in the future. Please subscribe to our blog to keep us going. I will be expanding my reviews to cover more stores as well to be able to better serve my readers.
